Might be older than most on this forum but Lots of riding experience- Know how to set a bike up for me- Know what works over a 100 mile ride- know how to keep the bike maintained properly- and Yes my legs, lungs and knees still work. Care to join me on my weekend ride?

That looks awesome! Good luck and make sure you type up a ride report for us, I know I look forward to reading it.

All the more reason for you to purchase your next bike at a "real" bike shop. That way they can help you with the setup. Once you get the bike set up properly you will be able to ride longer and faster. The rides will be much more enjoyable. You won't be a kid forever so take care of those knees, once you are an old man like all of us you will be grateful.

As for am I going to ***** (whatever ***** is) if they come on here and act like you then yes. I will attempt to help them for the first few days (like so many others did) until I find out that they already know it all and don't care what other people have to say, even though they asked for the advise. It is obvious that all you want is some people to tell you yes, those crappy bikes you are looking at rule! After it becomes completely evident that they already know everything, like yourself, I will give up on them as well.

No, it started after you got offended by a good advice, and after you managed to offend not one but many people. Just remember this, no person that I know in this forum will intensionally offend anyone unless that person deserves it.
