should I upgrade?
I have a Giant STP1. I really beat the hell out of it: big drops to flat concrete, crashes, etc. It came stock with avid bb5 discs. They really don't have the stopping power I want for trials type stuff I like to do. I always have to adjust the placement of the calipers, as after a couple beatings they start rubbing on the rotors. I'm thinking of juicy 5's or 7's. Will these rub on the rotors and need adjustment after hard riding too? How easy is it to adjust 5's or 7's? Are my cheap giant hubs the culprit? I have Hayes and chris king on my xc bike with no problems.

If you do trials, then you want V-Brakes, but if you plan to use them on a trail and you have the money, or with the Juicy 7's.

I do trials and jumping. I have thought about hydo rim brakes, but my rims do get screwed up alot. Basically I want disc brakes I don't have to worry about or they are easy to adjust.
