Fox Float RP3 with propedal - What's up with the blue lever?
I have this rear shock on my '05 Rocky Slayer but have no idea what the little blue lever does. I can't say that I feel any difference between +, - or middle. Couldn't find anything in these forums and no info in the owner's manual either! Does anyone have any info?

Throw the stick!!!!
That should be to go between pro pedal and no pro pedal. It is kind of like a lockout. Can you tell any difference when you are hammering? It should give you a more stable platform when it is "on".

On my DHX 4.0 the blue know adjusts how much pedal dampining it is set for. So you would only feel it if you were pedaling

It basically adds stiction via compression damping.
When it's in the higher pro-pedal mode, it reduces pedal induced bob in the rear end by kicking in compression damping and try's to sense (somewhat) the difference between pedal compression and bump compression. Then when it get's a bump-type impact, it blows by the compression valve and allows travel. I don't like it myself. It's okay for an XC sled, but for an all mountain/ freeride...I want to have ultimate small and large bump resilance.

Makes sense about the compression damping to reduce pedal bob. What baffles me, though, is what the "+", "-" and center positions do. Does center give medium compression damping, with + and - being more and less, respectively? Or is center medium damping with + and - being more and NONE, respectively?

That dial does nothing but adjust the low speed compression dampning. You really will only feel it on climbs, basically at "low speed" Try flicking it to the + side for climbing, You WILL notice a difference. On our Demo 05 Slayer I would flick it to + for climbs and - everywhere else. Flicking to - allows to dampning valves to be open quicker and effectively more responsive.
