    sufficient for air travel?

    Hi all,
I'll be heading out to Steamboat Springs this summer with my new SC Blur, and I'm taking my bike as checked baggage. I've used cardboard boxes before, with so-so results. However, for this trip, I have to change planes 3 times per way, and I don't trust plain old cardboard to protect my bike. However, I can't afford a $200 cargo box or similar.

Would something like this be sufficient?

    Thanks.

I can't comment on that box, but I have the Performance box ($200) and it's worked fine. Yes, the airline is lame and charges an extra $50 each way, but I think it is worth it. The TSA has to hand check (makes me nervous as hell cause I pack it so specifically) but I stand there and tell the guy how to put it back, then hand him locks, and he puts them on.

Good luck w/ what ever you choose!
