    45km ride, what to bring?

hey, there is 45km ride and I was wondering, what should I bring? My hydration packs only allow me to bring 1Litre of storage, im thinking of a power bar, a stop bleeding item (dont know what its called), handphone, wallet, anything else? Air pump maybe I put it onto my bike frame.

Definitly bring the air pump, if space is a concern mabye one of those mini co2 pumps will suit your needs.

Sombody was raving about a pump that was dual, c02 for quick inflation but also was a good regular pump incase you ran out of C02, thats the pump I want but i have no clue wich it was.

It would be nice to be able to ride with a friend as you can split the load for the important stuff that you both dont need to have.

in addition to what others have said ( stop bleeding thing sounds like either a band aid, gauze or turniquet all of which are in a first aid kit) I have a water battle with built in filter that I take if there is access to water and space is limited every time I go to the REAL boonies I take it, no matter how much water I have

That's a good idea , unless you live where I do . If I make it to the water , it means I'm home . I should put together a small 1st aid kit .

i carry water, 2 tubes, small tool set, pump, tire levers, and a cell 'phone and camera (had one of my pics published by our local paper a couple of weeks ago)...sometimes wear a helmet if riding solo on the back trails

Most important, carry ID, medical insurance cert., and a contact name in case of accident...you never know (wear clean underwear just in case...or so my mom says)
