is there a chart for finding the right sized bike? What sized person should ride a medium sized bike?

i think mtb'ing is way more relaxed. i am going crazy trying to fit for a rd bike!

all the manufacturers are going to be different. you said a medium? my follow-up to that would be does the frame come in a x-sm, sm, etc. one of my frames starts at a medium as the smallest one.

i think we might need more details before we can help.

but i would say a medium might be good for 5'6" to 5'10" or something like that
