sudden stiffness in fork..?
so i was coming down a hill pretty fast. it was bumpy with stones etc and when i got to the bottom i noticed my fork had stiffend right up. any ideas to whats up?

does it go through its normal stroke now? are there obvious signs of a bolt coming off the bottom of legs or underneath the caps?
maybe it was just some sort of temporary hydraulic lock because it was too much for the fork to handle at the time.

I see that siu....very very slick
Did the fork end up releasing slightly later. Poorly designed damping systems show these characteristics when riding down fast sections with lots of small bumps. Real proving group for a fork

yeah, i have a SR suntour fork..so i think that explains it doesnt it? its not as soft as before and it doesnt get as much travel as it used to do. Coming down the road i was putting my weight on the front and it wouldnt go down a bit. the fork did release lightly as i stopped and lifted the front end up the fork went back to its full length
