OffRoad Pro Flex 550 any good?
hey all
Just came across a 1997 OffRoad Pro Flex 550 used for 175 bucks, never heard of the company and just geting into mountain biking and want a cheap but quality bike that i can tinker with.
This bike has 21 Speed - Shimano hardware Deore LX (top of the line at the time)
Front Suspension Rock Shox Indy C
Rear Suspension - Offroad called this their "Integral Damping Suspension"
Has minor scratches and a couple rust spots but chain, shifter, and gears appear to be good.
From what i've heard Shimano and Rock Shox are quality aftermarket parts, it's a 26 inch 21 speed bike. I'm primarily using it for rough dirt roads and possibly some off roading. Would this be a good purchase for the money? anyone know anything about these bikes? they good quality?
Any input would be appreaciated

I used to own a RockShox Indy SL fork, it was great, its still good and actually it was a nice fork, you could barely notice it was 8 years old.
I'm not too sure on that rear suspension though.

Not that you can get much else for 175, but I might steer clear of that bike. Its definitely better than any xmart bike though. Also Deore lx was not top of the line, by '97 it was xtr, then xt, then lx.
