looking for a new bike
Hello, first post here.
I have just recently got into mountain biking. I really like it, but I need a better bike. I bought a hundred dollar Aspire bike on ebay a couple months ago, and wow....I cannot believe they made bikes so aweful. Me and my buddy took demolished it today and I'm looking to buy new bike tomarrow.
I'm looking to spend about $400-$600. My friend that I ride with has a Cannondale and it seems to ride nice, I also here that Trek bikes are good.
any suggestions?

The one thats fits. In that range don't buy a FS. Look mainly for frame quality and a decent fork.
The rest can be replaced as it breaks, but those can be pricy to replace.
