    How's the Trek Bruiser 1?

so i decided to stop being cheap and go for broke for a bike that won't....go broke

so the Trek Bruiser 1 somehow popped to the forefront for me. so is this bike really durable as they say it is? will it withstand hard riding and rough trails? will it just not break on me in general? is it upgradeable? do you recommend it for a beginner?

*edit* i also just realized that it's not on the trek website... can you still find it in shops?

It's been replaced by the jack 1. They are a great bike, but I broke my frame, and I have a friend who broke his in the exact same place. Very capable bike though.

You might be lucky to find it in a shop, all the shops here have sold theirs.
