When I lock out the shock (headshock fatty DL) it still has a touch of flex to it. The bike shop told me that there is most likely an air bubble inside that is causing it. Any Cannondale owners have this issue?

I went through this with my XS800 last year (equipped with the Fatty Ultra X). My LBS - Hite's Bike Shop in Butler PA, I swear by them - told me it was likely a small amount of leakage. Unfortunately my 'vacation' in Afghanistan came shorty after the diagnosis and it wasn't repaired at that time. It's not been high on my priority since returning - can't tell you how ea$ily it's fixed.
