    Frame geometry messed?

I need a new fork because mine is a serious piece. If I were to put a 110mm fork on my bike that came with 130mm fork stock, would that really mess up the geometry or not be bad? I am wanting to do this because the front end feels a little high and 130mm is a bit big for dirt jump.

TehEskimoHunter - Have you considered dropping the stem down the spacers on the steerer tube on your fork? This will lower the handelbars significatly.

Also no, putting a 110mm fork wont 'mess up' the geometry .

The axle to crown distance is what you need to look at. I think(ask kona) the pike has about the same axle to crown as a 5" Fox fork. The 6" fork I run on my Bullit has an axle to crown thats about the same as a 5" fork. This keeps the geometry a little better for trail riding. Your bike might steer a little quicker but it should be fine.
