Chain Guide reinstall - picts

Well, I made a trip to the local hardware store and about $3 later I had the solution to my earlier chain guide installation. I was able to cannibalize some of the existing pieces of the upper guide and reconfigure things so that the back now has a very thin profile. Now it clears my swingarm pivot just fine so that I could rotate it counterclockwise into its proper position.

Now I just gotta get out tonight and run it around and make sure it's all dialed in. Silver Mountain, here I come !

P.S. - Thanks again to Maelstrom and Gastro for getting me to rethink my earlier installation and to really think about how how to make it better. That's why we have the Forums. It's good to have other people to bounce things off of.

That looks MUCH better. Congrats on the mod. Now you can send that to the guy at Syncros and ask for .0001 cent off of each one sold. Pretty soon, you'll earn enough to offset the costs of the modification.
