What's a Specialized Enduro good for?

I bought one of these a few months back. It's a freaking tank. Does not turn real sharp, suspension is spongy and forget riding it on the street. That's a workout in itself. What's this bike good for? Downhill? I do like the way it climbs though.

Um, I hate to ask, but why if you live in Houston did you buy an Enduro? There's nothing in hundreds of miles that does justice to that bike. That's a MOUNTAIN bike. Close to if not a decent downhiller. Not the greatest climber. Those are limited to 5" and under travel bikes. You'd have been better off with an Epic.

You know people choose bikes for looks over how it feels to a person.

That bike was actually specifically made to be crappy. Specialized thought it was about time that people payed lots on money for a good for nothing bike.

In a non-carcastic answer its supposed to be an all mountain bike.
    In this pecking order:
    XC
    all mountain
    trail
    freeride
    DH

So it'll take slightly more abuse then a XC bike but you can't just go launching it everywhere. I will agree though that in primarilty flat terrain, you might have trouble using it to its full potential
I've been here since 2004? I've never felt this old before.

It was meant for all mountain or enduro, hence the name. Suspension is spongy? Adjust it to fit your needs then.
