Heavy riders + GT IDXC = ???

Can't find too much info on the GT IDXC 3.0 (or even 2.0-4.0) bikes when it comes to how strong they actually are. Found one thread where someone broke the frame and was 200lbs or so - but could have been a "fluke" since it happens.

Anyone out there have one of these bikes and weigh 240+?

Thanks in advance!

If it's breaking with 200lbs then I wouldn't touch it at 240+.

Agreed!
Although I hear for the 05+ models they beefed it up a bit.
