i want 24" wheels

hey im building up a bike for college. iv picked up pretty much everything i need for free. the wheels i have are really, really crappy. they came off of a hella old roadmaster (x-mart) and they're un-truable. the frame i have is made for 24" wheels, so i'd like to use that frame in an effort to save cash. that leads me to my query. where, other than ebay or craigs list, can i pick up a cheap 24" wheelset?

You could ...

You could

a) go to your LBS and have them order you some.
b) go to K-Mart and buy a POS bike for $75 and take the 24" tires off of that.
c) go to K-Mart and buy a 26" POS bike for $75 and ride that
d) find someone with a quality used mountain bike and buy that
