Looking for a Bike

Hi All,
I've been away from biking for about 5 years and am looking to make a purchase soon. I want to use my bike mainly for thrashing around town and occasionally hitting the hills and trails so I was thinking that a dirt jumper type bike would be good for me.

I have been looking at:
Specialized P2
Trek Jack 2
Giant STP (Shop recommended)
Kona Stuff
Gt Ruckus DJ

Your opinions and advice will be greatly appreciated and please feel free to suggest others too!

Thanks
