I love my job, I love my job. Just got my pay check! I love my job!

and that means it is time to upgrade. I am putting a new front end on my 04 hardrock. I am having trouble deciding what the best fork for my bicycle would be. I am torn between the 06 reba with 100mm of travel, the float 130 R or F130 RLC. I am on a bit of a budget but then again i can part with my money fairly easilly as long as i think im getting a deal and doing the right thing. i currently have a fork with 100mm on travel already so i am somewhat inclined to purchase the reba because of the price and it being the same size as my current fork. will an additional 20 mm mess of my geometry that much? Thanks in advance for all the input! Take care and happy trails!

I think you should just stick with 100mm because you will be very sluggish in turning at low speed with the 130mm.

I had 150mm of travel on my hardrock, so 130mm sould be fine for you. Also depends if you even need that much travel, what type of riding are you doing??

trust me, 130mm of travel on a hardrock isnt sluggish while turning at low speed

Fox 130 RLC gets my vote...wicked fork and definatly worth the money! I have ridden hardrocks with 130mm travel and the handle really well so you don't have to worry about it feeling "sluggish"

I just ordered a reba race but I cant tell you how it is yet hehe. but the reviews were really good.

Hey thanks for all the input and help guys! After giving the situation some thought, doing some budgeting, and visiting ebay for the first time i have decided that the Reba 100mm is for me! I would love to put a fox fork on my bike, but the reba really seems like the most bang for my buck. And they have that cool poploc thing! I have been overhauling my bike the whole summer and am very happy to give my front end some much needed love. So far, 9 spd xt cassette, xt rd and fd, xt shifters, raceface northshore dh cranks, raceface xc stem, shimano chain and hopefully very soon a new fork and breaks. Thanks again for the help and input. Happy trails!
