I personaly wouldn't trust them on anything coming close to the 7ft mark. That's pushin it....unless you are the smoothest rider and dont ever botch a landing. Just my opinion. They are more of an xc wheel than anything.

I'll second that. Not intended for that kind of abuse. You need something more like the Deemax if you want tubeless for that kind of extremes.

Deemax? I think that's a little over-the-top. Intense Mag 30, Trailpimps, Sun Doublewied, Sun Stingletrack, etc will be okay, I think.

So those are UST rims? I don't think so. For 7ft. drops the DeeMax would be a logical choice if you were looking for a UST wheel for 7ft. drops.

The good thing about the new D-MAX is they are now 600 bucks a set rather then the old 1000 bucks. You can also puchase just the rim now and fit what ever hub/spokes you like to them which is the way I would recomend.

I want a pair of those! I really like the silver/yellow/black color combo. Quality is of course top notch from Mavic. I think those would be a killer wheelset!
