Semi-OT: Good small digital camera? (to fit in camelbak)
I have a good film camera, but I'd like to get something small and digital for taking pictures on the trail, etc. I'm thinking at least 5 megapixels. What are you guys using?
I was looking at this but, the reviews make it out to be somewhat mediocre: http://www.prestigecamera.com/images/big/cnpssd30.jpg http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1911120,00.asp |
Any particular reason you are looking for 5 megapixels?
Unless you're going to be printing 8" by 10" pictures you can go with fewer megapixels. But regardless, that is an excellent camera and anything from the SD Series is quite good. Another alternative would be to look at some of the Pentax Optio series as they are quite compact and even come in some rugged waterproof models as does the Olympus Stylus line. Good luck! |

Canon ixus (or ixy depending on what country) are great very small cameras. Easy to use and light.
