Big Hit Build -- HELP!
alright, decided to swap parts. Have an eduro right now and gonna build up a big hit.
got an 05' frame on the way. just wanted to check a few things before i start ordering parts.
1.) I can only do a 24" rear wheel correct?
2.) Currently have Marzocchi Bomber Z.2, 2 years old taken a good beating but I love this fork. Durable, easily adjusted, good travel and recoil, etc etc. Will this fit the new frame?
3.) I hate to say it "only" has 85mm travel but, its the truth (z.2). The biggest drops I've done are 15ft and don't see myself doing anything deeper than that this season, no complaints with my z2 but, worth getting another fork? oem is the manitou kingpin which has over twice the travel at 170mm. my main concern is positioning of the bike since its setup from the factory as such.
I'm gonna be working on this all of august, mainly because of funding, so I wanna get started with wheels and forks first. thanks fellas and fellees.

You can do anything you want, but the Z2 on that bike is going to mess up the geometry significantly.
Quick question. Can you adjust the travel on the Big Hit by flipping the link around? I don't think you can with the Big Hit.
If you can't, the least amount of travel for a BigHit would probably be a 6" single crown.
The bike is designed for a long travel fork, anything else is just crazy.
