Ok, I am going to put it this way, you can never find out unless you buy every bike that each one of those comanys make. I dont think that you can, so why are you even asking?

Comparing a Trek to lets say Transition, on who makes the better bike doesn't make sense. Transtion makes great freeride bikes, but Trek makes ok kinds, but Trek's road bikes are superb.

I voted trek, only because thats all I own. They probably don't make the strongest frames though.

Oh ye fountain of wisdom, please let us all know which brand makes the finest frames in all the land. That way we don't even need to poll, we'll just all know.

(I find it funny JASON, you having owned one trek, which you put a fork with way too much travel on, stressed the chain stays and broke it due to your own negligence, and you think you have the right to knock trek)

It's between Cove and Santa Cruz for me. Cove for Freeride, SC for All-Mountain and XC.

I voted for SC, cause if I had a shopping spree, I would have a deeper quiver to choose from.

I ASKED the forumers if it would be okay before I did. 150 mm isn't too much travel either. Maelstrom actually recommended that I would. I've never heard of a frame breaking at the chainstays from too large a fork, usually too large of a fork snaps THE HEADTUBE.

Bruiser frames just suck. That's why they completely dropped the line. I've seen 3 other bruiser frames break in that EXACT same place, on the drivetrain side each time.

Mr asshat, you need to loosen up, ALL I said was it was a definate possibility. (I bet someone will try to use this last sentence against me.)

Now, cursing aside, I one hundred percent agree with Jason222, if the fork was the cause for the frame failure, it would have been a headtube failure, additionally, many bruisers (a few reported on this forums) have suffered from frame problems.

Kona gets my vote as mine is a beast...my caldera fell off my bike rack going down the beltway doing 75 mph and went end over end at least 10 times and into the embankment. unbelievably the only things that were broke were the front rim and seat. aside from a few scratches of course.

I second that. But I do like some of the giant's XC FS bikes.

I think the smaller company's are usually far better for certain things.

Too much travel stresses the chain stays amonst other things you dip, where did your bike frame snap? the chain stay. Get your head out of your ahole and stop being such a cocky shltface. Don't act like I'm the only one who thinks your a cocky bastard either. Me and konarider already had our share of laughing at your ridiculous posts.

Here's the difference between me and you Jason, I know my comments are my own opinion. You think everything you say is fact and you know it all.

Nope, I already know trek is at the bottom of the line as far as frame quality goes. Honestly, I don't care what people ride, what people think is the best frame. I'm just sick of Jason's knowitall attitude.

I'm just reiterating what kona told me, as to why jason's frame broke. May or may not be correct, just an OPINION.
