New suspension forks
Okay I have decided to upgrade the forks on my 06 Giant Alias. Mys price range is 400-600 australian dollars. I use my bike for just about every tipe of riding but mostly for Small jumps (knee to waist high) and on most week ends i go for a light down hill (5 foot drops and such). I currently have rockshox j2's and they keep on bottoming out. what suspension would be good for me?

A Pike would probably be too much for it.
Look into a fork with 32mm stanchions. Maybe a Dirt Jumper fork from Marzocchi? Or perhaps a Rockshox Tora.

I just ordered my Manitou Minute for $250.00 shipped! Of course, you have a bigger budget so you'll have a lot of options there - good prices and really good service!

but the upside of getting from a bike shop is the warrenty that -THEY- will make the effort to call and fix your fork if something goes wrong. you will pay at least like $50 more for the forks that are in your price range when you buy at bike shops.

The new revelation is an excellent fork for the money.Much like a PIKE with normal QR axle.
I've heard good things, but never tired, the new offerings from spinner.

I don't know if he knew the value of the Mz-3 or not, but I'm almost positive it's a take-off anyway.

small bike shops = constant PMS due to very few consumers
big bike shops = free stuff! but still rip off cuz they need the budget to open more shops/better consumer service.
