Woohoooo!!!!!!!!!!

I just received a call from the shop, my frame is in!!!!!! Unfortunately I can't get away from the office until around 3:30 or so. I'll just have to dream about it a little longer I guess.

Oh, a few other goodies came in for me as well.

XT front derailleur
SRAM PC971 chain
Titec Pork Rinds
JAG Gold cable housing
X.0 grip shifts

Welp time to sneak off and go pick it up. Just have to take a minute and press the headset while I am at the shop. Then heading home, getting on the trainer an hour or two and then going to start building it up.

May i ask what you will be doing with the Enlightenment, you said this bike would be replacing it. BTW that is such a sweet bike. Can't wait to see it built up. Do you have all the parts for it, and are you going to cut the grips so that it works better with the gripshift?

He's selling it I believe!

PM him for details. He's off picking up his new frame right now!

Yup, sad but true. The Enlightenment is going to be for sale. I just haven't had a chance to clean it up yet.

Bye bye Enlightenment, I'm gonna miss ya.

Yes, I'll be cutting the grips. I have all of the parts for it, most of them are coming off of the Enlightenment.

Well I received my frame this evening and already weighed it. Actual frame weight is 2,064 grams (4.55 pounds). This weight is without the seatpost clamp and without the bottle cage bolts.

I am currently in the middle of the build. Not sure if I will finish it up this evening or not. There are a couple of parts that I plan on stealing off of my Truth. The only problem is I am racing the Truth this weekend so I would really like to leave the lighter parts on it until after that.

Anyway, here are a couple of pictures.

I'm really not all that concerned about the weight since I'm setting it up more for downhill / freeriding.

It's a DH frame built using the Kleenex methodology. Use once then throw away.

(he was kidding)

Do you consider 22.2 pounds to be light or stupid light? I'm pretty sure I can get it down to 22 pounds without having to take out a loan.
