1997 giant rincon

i found this bike on craigs list near my house. im mainly looking to get some exercise out of it. havent had a bike in 10 years so i figure if i can get some use out of it and upgrade to a new one in six months to a year. just wondering if its worth it. again, im not looking for anything more than road use, grass paths and very light trails.

make sure to test ride it, you don't wanna go on your first ride and realize its way too small or way too big. other than that it looks like a good deal. oh i just noticed it says it needs new tubes, well you could test ride a few bikes and see what your size is and then ask him what size it is, if it's a close size go ahead and get it. minor size discrepancies can be fixed/ignored.

...if he says no to 40, and the bike fits, 55 is more than a fair price. You cant pick up a x mart mtb for that. Here youre getting a quality frame and comps no matter what. If you get bored of it, it will hold its value as well.
