clipless are kind of like step in snoboarding bindings for bmx racing and odyssey is a bmx brand

They're just a pedal manufacturer. Thier lineup is aimed at the BMX side of the sport, but there is nothing stopping you from putting a pair on a mtn bike. I did, and i like them alot.
