Bikes and Beer - Post your photos
Some of my favorite things:
1) My Santa Cruz Juliana (yeah I'm a girl)
2) A great ride
3) A nice, cold beer after a ride (yeah, a girl who likes good bikes AND beer - there are more of us out there than guys know)
My bike likes me to take pictures of it with my beer. What is your bike's favorite beer?? Post your pix.

Nice ride, MudSplattered. I don't drink after my rides too often, but we have an awesome Mexican place that makes a mean chicken burritto. After working up a good hunger riding, that certainly hits the spot. If I were to grab a beer, a cold Maudite would do it.

Nice beer. Think I'd favor an aluminum can. How many shards of beer cans have I had to dig out of my tires.

The dangers of drinking and riding...darn it. I generally like to have a cold one while I am cleaning my bike after the ride.

I have to agree on this one, a nice cold beer is great after a long ride, How about just filling a camelback up with a 6-pack?

Or it might not.... Problem is, you can't really tell and when you deny a problem, well, that's a symptom in and of itself. Kind of a catch 22.
Saying I like a beer or two after a ride? No problem.
Saying my bike likes me to take pictures of it and my beer? That could be interpreted as shifting the "blame" or the responsibility for your drinking to someone else - which can be considered a symptom of early alcoholism.
Anyway... I usually prefer (need?) water after my rides. Water without hops added, that is!

The beer in my pic is my "treat beer". I have one of these after a really good ride. Other than that, I will usually have a Pilsner Urqel or a Sam Smith Taddy Proter.
