Is this much of a helmet

I am looking for decent helmet for my wife and saw this helmet a Ascent Nomad Sport on Nasbar at a good price for $29.95 on sale. http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?c...dult%20Helmets
Looks good , has the strong hold retention system that looks decent, has plenty vents in the right places, and the colors match her bike , but can't out much about it. Is it a decent helmet does anbody have any feedback on it?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Bill

if it meets the ansi and snell (and whatever other reqs might be new) then it'll work as designed. hopefully. more expensive helmets get you more venting, lighter weight, and better comfort. doesn't always mean it'll protect any better or worse. proper fit is the most important. better to try a helmet on in the store, rather than order one and hope it fits.

an expensive helmet with a crappy fit is far worse than a cheap helmet that fits properly.
