Another one from DeKerf.

And several from Vicious Cycles. I'm a big fan of Flaming Fades.

My preference is annodized. However, if that isn't an option I really like battleship grey or flat black.

I was looking into painting my frame awhile ago too. You can find an auto color, get the code off the net and take it to an auto body. But make sure the auto body can bake the frame, which not all can.

Envy Green. I saw this car on the road today, its almost metallic. Really hot.

What do you wish to accomplish by re-painting your bike - do you wish to stand out in a race & be noticed, or just want to make it look cool?

Anybody remember the "orange" guy at the NORBA races a few years back? He's probably still around, but I think he must have picked up a sponsor or team, because he's not orange anymore!

Thanks for all the ideas!! Flat black is up there as well as those Scion colors. Battleship grey is really cool too.

apclassic9 asked what I am trying to accomplish.
Answer:
I have a warranty rear triangle coming that is going to be flat black and the frame is white. I've never really favored the decals and was thinking this is the perfect time to create something all my own.

I am first going to strip the decals and see if I can polish the frame to match the different shades of white revealed under the decals. I may like the disparagement of the white/black and put a simple lime green "GF" on the downtube and maybe a lime green "SIDI"(I've always loved their branding) at the toptube where it meets the seat tube.

Keep the ideas a flowin!!

Oh, in that case, I'd leave it white up in the front half of the frame, shoot all the white with a dull clear and do a fog blend from the flat black forward.

I did two. One, a simple flat black to flat white blend:

The other picking up on your lime green accent idea and making an intermediary blend:
