I have a mountain bike again!
About 6 months ago, I traded my mountain bike for a bike I could ride on the road. I hadn't had much of a chance to get out ot the trails, and I figured I'd ride more if I could ride on the road right near my house. This was mostly true, and I have been enjoying my road riding for the past 6 months. However, not too long after I got rid of my MTB, I started to miss the trails. I like road riding, but it's not quite the same. Yesterday, I found a guy who was willing to trade a cyclocross bike that I had (it was too small for me, and just sitting around my house) for a Cannondale MTB that he wasn't really using very much.
Check out what I got: http://static.flickr.com/96/252495791_3a27e9ac8b_b.jpg I'm going to convert it back to 9-speed, and then I can hit the trails again :) |
Congrats on the new rig. The good news about road cycling you've been doing is that it helps you build endurance...you'll really feel the difference the first time you climb a hill on your mtb.

that sure is a nasty ride! i especially like the yellow cables. happy trails!

I think that thing looks sick.

Neat. Have fun with it!

Good looking ride. Have fun on it. I've been lovin' my c-dale hardtail since '01! It's held up great until I crashed at a race on Sunday and I broke the front D-shifter.

Take it out and ride it "as is".Love those pimp Race Face cranks!

Nice orange rear hub

Congrats on the sweet looking bike! why not just keep it as a SS?
