06 Trek Session?
Hola everyone,
Just wanted opinions on the 06 Session 7 + 77. Opinions on frame alone, I don't give a crap about the components. I'm still looking for a frame for my winter build for a shuttle+ski resort dualy. If anyone has ridden/owns one I want to hear form you! That's about all, let me know what ya think. Matt |
Define what you mean here. A bike to get you around a ski resort?
If so, I wouldn't use that, I'd use a rigid aluminum frame, with nokian tires. In my opinion ( and don't trash me for this please, I hate forum arguments ) is that is a silly idea to use a good frame like that in harsh winter conditions. |
haha, troll.
Yeah, a guy that works at one of the lbs's here has one(session 7) and he loves it. |
I took a spin on one once....Awesome! They are really nice! There not very pedal efficent but hey, your gonna be shuttling anyhow.

Didn't you just ask the EXACT same question about the transition which is virtually the same bike but didn't respond to the responses?
Its a solid bike. Frame is solid, geometry is almost identical to the transition so the ride would be similar. Biggest difference is in the bearings which are huge...massive actually. I have had a chance to play on one, and it is great for ski resorts, but better for more frish than dh. The geometry is a little tall for dh race quality bike. |

What resort and you going to be playing at? Keep in mind, some of the "resorts" in the states are more catered to dh than fr so a shorter build frame might work out better. The transition and trek are both tall and really work well for climbing (as far as 7 in dually's go)
