Bought dad a Boulder
A Giant Boulder that is. Was the best entry level machine I could find in his LBS.
Since I got it last month he's been out about 5 nights a week on his local trails in the forests and up the mountains. I'll be meeting him in 2 weeks for a spin, that should be fun.
It's great to see someone get totally addicted so quickly

Thats awesome. Its a good way to spend some quality time together and have stories to talk about later. I would absolutely LOVE my dad to get into MTBing, but he is very accident prone and not the most cordinated. On the other hand, he is very athletic and youthful. I just would hate to have him get hurt on the trails. Have a good ride with the pops.
