New bike seat?
When I was starting out on trials and jumping and stuff, I flipped my bike around a lot, and now my seat has this big hole in it and the cushion comes out. I duct taped it, but it peels over and sticks to my butt. So I was just wondering, what seat would you reccomend for me?
I have a cheat WTB seat that's pretty hard. I like hard seats, but not when they give me butt sores (I've had a lot of those). Something that's a little plush, kinda firm, and not too expensive. I might be able to pay 100 bucks for one but I'll have to work for it.
I'm also going to do lots of long-distance riding to Seattle and Redmond and stuff too. And it needs to be tough enough to take a beating, but not too much of a beating, cause I've learned to land on the ground the right way now!

I'll sell you my Specialized Body Geometry Comp for $100 Canadian, that's only $60 US!!
But seriously, you have to go and try out saddles to see what you think is Comfy!!
I bought a saddle for $10, it came off a Cannondale, and they have a bin at the LBS with stripped parts from upgrades from new bikes.
It is awful comfortable, and light as well.
A good Store should at least put it on your bike, and let you spin a bit in the trainer, or on a bike in store. Also, you can ask if they have a fit guarantee as well, most shops do. If it turns out after a week you hate it, you have the option to return it.
This is one place that if you don't know exactly what you want you had better not buy it before you try it!
