    80mm and 100mm

i bought my bike last summer (2002) and it has a 02 Judy C fork and the fork is able to do 80mm of travel and 100mm. How do i set it to 100mm? or was it 100mm when i bought it? i really know nothing about forks lol

The knob on the on top of the left side (if looking from on the bike) will change the travel. Counterclock-wise for more travel, clock-wise for less. Enjoy!

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Judy C's dont have U-Turn. To change the travel you need to take the fork apart and move some spacers

Here's the best way to to it, this week hang around the LBS each day, ride there, and keep your helmet and gloves in hand, talk to the mechanics, buy some small accessories, tubes, seat bags, chain breaker, etc. At the end of the week, go up to the mech your most comfortable with and talk about some real technical trails, look over to your bike, then say "Man, it would be nice if I could change my fork to 100mm of travel." Most likely if he didn't have a ton to do, he'd do it for free. Good luck!
