Trails in the Toronto area?

I've been looking around the toronto area but I can't really find any good trails here, doeas anyone know any good parks?

You could go to Hardwood Hills in Barrie, or Albion hills. I think albion is in caledon. You have to pay for both but not much (like 12 bucks for a fully day at Hardwood) and they are some of the best places in ontario to ride xc.

I would bet Toronto has about the best Urban trails of any city in NA. Go to the Don Valley. It is a ravine with all kinds of trails, obstacles, river crossings, single track, elevation changes, etc. Just head up the Don Valley Bike path and start right near this big field off bayview avenue. If you are driving, the best way to go is to park at the Loblaws parking lot near Thornncliff park and make your way to the chain link fence. There is a big hole cut in it. It is downhill from there. The trails can be busy after work or on weekends. Early morning is amazing

Maybe i'll check that out in the summer too, is it more FR or XC?

There are some very technical trails with switchbacks, etc. There is a very nice jump area (near the river) that people have built all kinds of jumps and whoops. There is also a lot of catwalks and fallen trees that have been turned into rideable obstacles. I just stick to the single track stuff myself.
