Which is the correct way to pronounce RS Pike?

like.. pipe but instead of the "pe" sound at the end, replace it with "ke"?

I think it was meant to be pronouced like the pike in "turnpike"

I suppose some people would pronounce it like pikey as in the movie Snatch... but turnpike makes more sense
