It cant be custom built. Has to come from the manufacturer with everything already on it.

If I only had $2,000 to buy a bike I would look at some used 2006 bikes. I would much rather get a $3,500 bike with a few rides on it than a new $2,000 bike. That's just me though.

Didn't buy my cowan complete. The last I checked total I have about $3,000 into it. Was higher when I ran gears on it.

I didn't mean to imply that $2,000 bikes are garbage. There are a lot of great $2,000 bikes out there. I just feel that at that price range you can get more for your money if you buy a lightly used bike.

I think that I would go for a Stumpjumper FSR Comp or Enduro for a dual

A hardtail? hmmmmm.......I would get a nice steel hardtail frame and do a build. I think I could do a nice build for $2,000
