That actually looks like a flaw in the powder coating. over spray possibly.

at least they're using actual product. i always wondered why my corn flakes never looked like the hand selected flakes in elmers glue on the box.

Too funny. I think it may have been a scratch that they took a Sharpie to in an effort to camouflage it. Almost looks like it's well used. KonaRider, did you notice too how scarred and pitted the steer tube looked?
