MTB Trail books?

Does anyone know of good MTB books such as; trails around the states, techniques, trips, bike comparisons and prices...etc These are not actually titles of books they’re just ideas of what I’m looking for. If you know of a book dealing with MTB trails (with maps) around the US let me know. That would be of much help.

Also what are some good magazines that I should subscribe to?

Thx.

I've had good luck with the Mountain Bike America seres. I also see a direct relationship on how good the book is, to how expensive the bike is on the cover.

I bought a small book from Falcon Publishing a while back when I was in Moab...

It tells rides, where to eat, where shops & sources are... the best trails.. the best trails for your skill level.. it's really awesome.

Pick one up. they're like $10 ...

Well worth it.

Like the BigHit, I picked up a Falcon published book that was written for all the trails in Wisconsin. Very helpful, gives levels of difficulty - this helps determine were Ill ride with the guys or with my wife and her hybrid bike. If you have a Borders Books in your area, check out the Sports area of the store.
