decals???

hey guys!!!

it's been a while since i was last here...i came home from college and wasn't able to get access to the 'net until just the other day.

anyway, i was hard pressed back in feb. and march looking for that perfect ride, and i finally found it. i bought a fisher big sur 2001 model mid-june. a great bike for someone like me who was just really getting his feet wet and wanted a good, quality bike. marzocchi Z.5 fork, shimano drivetrain, lx derailleurs, and a kickass silver and blue paint job.

but i really, really, want a couple of fisher decals for my roof rack fairing. i am sure that i could go to the shop and order some, but the shop is a good hour drive from my house, and i figured there has to be some place to get them online. i have poured over mtbr.com and found nothing. search engines yeild nothing usable either. help me!!! please!!!

thanks. and it's good to be back.

Try https://www.eBay.com There are many cycling decals up for auction on the site. Also contact Fisher in a very loving manner and ask for decals... if you play it right they will HOOK YOU UP!!! Works for me lol!

Shoot Fisher an eMail, I'm sure they'll take care of you. It's free advertising for them after all.

bradley and riderx,

i contacted fiisher as you recommended, and i promptly recieved a reply, asking me for my mailing address so they could mail me a decal.

what a kickass company. great bikes, and great customer service. can't ask for more.

thanks for the advice.

Tomas,
What does the decal look like? Is it the Fisher Logo? Do you think they would send the bike name decals? The MT. Tam decals on mine are starting to peel off.

fubar5-

i imagine that the decal will just be the logo. they sounded kinda' stingy, as the guy who responded to my email told me that "one would be on the way" after he got my address.

it may be all in how you present your self. i guess that it also may have to do with the fact that a big decal on a roof rack fairing is a good bit of free advertising for fisher.

that sux that you have to order the decals for your frame. how long haveyou had your mt. tam? is it the new one you just got? and if so, why are the decals coming off already? just curious.

My MT Tam is used. I got it from a fellow military dude in Charleston. The Decals aren't really coming off, but they are stickers, and kind of cheesy.
