Thats just stupid...people used to not want BMXers, and some still don't want them, riding their bikes where they wanted to. Can't we all just play nice?!

not all bmxers are like that, don't worry. i've been racing bmx for about 10 years now as well as riding skateparks, trails and lately i've been riding road bikes a whole bunch. i'm starting to get into mountain biking now. for the most part, those "bmxers" in the bmx forum are close minded 13 year olds who are an embarrassment to bmx.

Lets me quote this back here:

Plus IIRC in the whole world, there are only a handfull of bike only parks. Skaters and BMX riders get along just fine in alot of the spots i've ridden, but the mountian bikers are all the same.

I dont get where you got the 'close minded 13 year olds' from, considering this is the first thread where we've been givin' a subject to discuss, the rest are just like every other thread on these forums.

I dont see how.

The rules of the park are that your in the bowl for a maximum of 5 minutes, and when your in the bowl you ride it. You dont roll around in the bottom.

You watch for someone eyeing a line, and you dont get in the way, when sombody is sessioning a rail or ledge, you dont go and get in their way.

I'm defending my point.

Right now they have no etiquette(sp) when it comes to skateparks. And you think we hate mtb'ers? Go to Pinkbike and look around, it's damn near impossible to post something BMX related there and not get flamed.

And those are the people that go to skateparks on mountian bikes, pinkbikers.

Well maybe next year I'll build up a DH bike, FR bike, DJ bike, AM bike, park bike, street bike, and a XC bike.

Or maybe they should be more specific like a bike for airing out of quarters, a bike for manuals, a bike for drops, a bike for rocky xc and a bike for sandy xc.

First of all LOL @ that ^^

second, don't worry about it wtp. You spent too much time trying to defend yourself. I still like you. Keep riding, who cares about the pinkbike kids.

Dude, maybe the mtn bikers you have encountered at the skate park are dicks but I assure you not all mtn bikers are dicks at the skatepark. You have to be a close-minded, arrogant ass hole to say all mtn bikers don't quote "know the rules of the park"

I'm always impressed when i encounter someone born with all knowledge of all things like WTP.

I bet he's never made a faux pas in a skate park ever.

Oh, sure I screw up in skateparks. Hell, Gary Young flipped me off because I got in his way.

But guess what, **** happens. Mountian bikers may unintentially(sp) do it, but they've done it on purpose to. For **** sakes, Dylan Tremblay, a pro rider treats BMX riders like dirt. Woudlnt even leave the bowl, and he wasnt doing anything amazing either.
