Dirt Research MTB info

Anyone have any info on the now defunct Dirt Research company. I've seen some of their frames and they look great. The search function pulled up 5 posts with little info. Google gave similar results.

Tim,

As I was bored this morning, I dug a bit deeper to see what I could find. It appears that Dirt Research frames were produced by Tom Teesdale (who, among other things, produced Gary Fisher Mt. Tams from 82-89, Marin Team Issue frames 89 & 90, the original prototypes for Barracuda and did work for VooDoo, Jamis and Dean.

If you're that enamored with Tom's handiwork, he's still making frames under his own label: T.E.T. Cycles.

You can read more about him here:
https://www.tetcycles.com/Who_is_Tom_/who_is_tom_.html

Hope this helps.

I saw that this morning when I tried to Google it. Thanks

It appears that there is no website or forum dedicated to the old Marque. A guy in New England bought a warehouse full of the frames and is selling them off on ebay. Just wanted to know what the story was on them.

dminor,

The shared link to T.E.T Cycles is much appreciated here. Good stuff indeed....
