XT Disc Brake question

Is it ok to go to an auto parts store and buy some mineral oil instead of payin 15 bucks for a few ml from pricepoint.com?

hmmm, i'm not sure.... probably wouldn't recommend it though.
is it worth risking? you can do a full bleed on 2 brakes with one small bottle.

i got pissed off after buying a shimano bleed kit ("aids bleeding brakes") and spening the next few hours clearing up fluid from my kitchen after it was sprayed everywhere.
i took it to my lbs who charged £20 to do both including fluid.
for the grief that was avoided i figured it was worth it
