Buying New wheels and Brakes. Need Help!

so. i think im going to get some new wheels and brakes. hydraulic brakes. the sizes available are listed as follows: 750/1700mm, 800/1250mm, 800/1300mm, 800/1350mm. what do these numbers describe? i ride a standard 26 inch wheels and ride singletrack cc. what would be appropriate, if any, for my riding style? Thanks for your input and help in advance. Happy trails!

You can measure your current cables. If you are switching from v-brakes, you can measure your v-brake cables, and then guess how much longer hose you will need to reach the disc brake caliper mounts on your frame, and fork. Having long hoses won't hurt, but if they end up being short you will have to get new hoses and bleed the brakes.

having cables that are too short sounds really nasty. But too long could be a hassle as well. Thanks for all the help guys. It is much appreciated!

You should probably be able to visit your bike manufacturer's web site & get your frame dimensions. On the other hand, you could also spend a few bucks for a tape measure!

thanks for the input guys. considering the size of this investment, i think it would be wise to go to the fabric store and pick up a soft tape measure. thanks again!
