New bicycle ^^.

Not exactly a mountian bike, but there isnt a specific trials forum yet.

A little bit of history here. I used to do trials before as a hobby on the side of mountian biking. Just like now I bmx with a side of mountian biking. I owned another GT team trials, like this except two years older and loved it. While I was practicing bouldering I came down on a sharp peice of shale and cut right through the chainstay. I ended up selling the bike to a kid for parts and never really got into it afterwards.

Last year my friend up the street bought this not knowing what it was. He rode it abit, but nothing to hard. It's basically been sitting and collecting dust, he put it on Pink**** to see how much intrest there is on it. After lots of people wanting it, but nothing happening he's decided to sell it to me.

Looks like i'm making a comeback to trials ^^.

You dont really have to know anything to make it fun.

Hopping backwards on your tire is fun, small tire pivots and spins are fun to. I prefer just bouldering though. Finding a pile of rocks about 30 feet high and hopping my ass up it.

It's awsome to, because we have a few open pit mines where I live, and there are piles of boulders that are monsterous. the tallest is around 60 feet or so, it's a hell of a work out to get to the top but it's so gratifying when you do. It can take around 40 minutes or so, then going down is the hardest.

I learned quicky, I can't do trials. I don't have that level of balance. But still, I dream of being able to.
Nice build

Only thing it needs is pedals and a new seat.

And a rear brake booster.

Might want to consider some bar end plugs... Looks like tissue core sample just waiting to happen.

Is that tar on stock maggie pads?
You should probably consider some heatsink or plazmatic pads.
+1 on the booster.

That mod is in fabulous condition and a definitive piece of history.

Edit: Whats with that stem?

It's deffintaly getting bar plugs, I dont like riding without them.

And i'm not to sure on the stock pads, I beleive so. Around here it's hard to get parts for Hydro rim brakes, so i'll take what I can get. I dont know what you mean by the stem, the only weird thing about it is you tighten it through a single bolt in front of the steer tube.

I don't ride trials, but I would think that wouldn't work that well.(Riding it I mean) But prove me wrong.

It is a very good idea.
