One friggin' awesome ride this morning. Got one of those new Azonic helment with the built in speakers for Christmas. Made a playlist on the Nano of some riding tunes. Mostly Red Hot Chili Peppers, Godsmack, Metallica, Fireball Ministry, etc etc etc. Put it on shuffle and the tunes just seemed to match up with the flow of the trail. New C-dale bibs also. Love bibs when it's cold. Plus I like C-dale riding gear. Just seems to fit me well. The weather here in Western Washington has been cold for a while. Today was sunny, clear and 25 deg. Perfect for some trail riding. Most the parts that are muddy for 11.5 months of the year are frozen solid. You'll be railing a bermed corner and then come out to some deep frozen grooves that are usually mud. Just pick your line and keep the momentum up and fly through. The climbing was great because most of the climbs were in loose or sandy areas and you had traction almost like riding on asphalt.
Man, I love Federal Holidays and having new toys. Happy Foo Year!

$40 to $45 depending on your LBS. The only song that wasn't real clear was Audioslaves Cochise. I think it just overdrove the speakers when it hits the upbeat parts. Other than that, I love the helmet.
