hello - newb here again

so, anyone have some feedback on where to go/not go for bikes in asheville?

thanks for your time - this whole new bike thing is daunting and i have stopped by a few shops where i feel my ignorance may have been (attempted) taken advantage of

thanks again and have a great day,
bri

...which is exactly why I recommended Sycamore in your other thread.

You may have better luck posting this question in the NC forum of this board or searching the NC forum of mtbr.

Biowheels seemed pretty good when I busted up my RD during the Fall Forum ride. Their prices were full retail, but the owner was good to talk to, got my frame straightened out, and offered helpful recommendations for local rides.

Sycamore Cycles in Pisgah Forest is the best shop around . Bio Wheels in Asheville is not bad as well.

I prefer Carolina Fatz or Liberty. Haven't been having good luck with biowheels the last year or so.
