Damn, that's hardcore!

Gojohnnygo. 05-02-03 09:40 AM

 That is hardcore just like a beaver chewing it's leg off to escape a trap.More power to him and his recovery.

DiL 05-02-03 09:47 AM

From the sound of it, I doubt it'll slow him down. If it were a leg it might complicate things, but I bet he'll be back at it as soon as everything heals

Dil,

There is a guy on the shore with a missing forearm. They designed a special proostetic for him to still ride. He does a number of the manmade stuff including drops even without his arm. So you are correct I am sure this guy will be back. Kudos to him, I am not sure what I would do. But then again I would never be in that situation. Now thats toughness :)

Holy sh*t, just thinking about it hurts. Good luck to him.

There is no better place to loose an arm. "The Maze" is an amazing place to hike.

I've biked with a guy with one leg and he kicked my butt hardcore. Sometimes when you have a challenge to overcome it makes you that much better at the sport.

Poke 05-02-03 05:44 PM

Holy Poop!!

Jake 05-02-03 06:08 PM

That is amazing....having the balls to cut off your own arm..

Grendel 05-02-03 07:23 PM

Damn. Just... damn! That guy's a badass no matter how you look at it. Ranks right up there with the guy in Florida that wrestled the 7-foot shark onshore after it attacked his nephew and helped park rangers get the boy's arm back from the shark. Actually, I dunno, I think this latest guy tops it...

jtown 05-03-03 03:22 AM

damn ... I guess no matter how skilled you are, it's always wise to bring someone along.
