WTB Rocket V SLT Saddle

Anybody tried this saddle? Is it comfortable for long rides? Thinking of bying.
Cheers.

I've been pretty happy with my Rocket V Team Ti...the standard Rocket V was a little harsh for my butt. I imagine the SLT is closer to the Team Ti in comfort if not better.

The Team is only like 80 bucks and it's pretty dang light. Everyone's can is different.

Cheers.
i have 3 WTB seats and like all of them. i did a semi long ride at 70 miles on the road one and my butt was still okay.

actually, i lied, one of my off-road WTBs has not been used yet. i have the higher end devo, pure, and shadow models ranging from around 90ish to 130ish. i am not sure i found the exact model you're refering to though.

I ride a Rocket V on my race bike, and have had no problems with it. but, my true favorite is the WTB Shadow V...maybe it's just the shape of my ass, but it's pure bliss.
either way, i'd recommend trying to test-ride the saddle somehow. saddle choice is a pretty personal decision. your local LBS might have one lying around, as WTB is a pretty popular saddle brand. good luck!

The whole saddle thing is personal. What is great for one person may suck for the next.

I hate my Lazer V, so much. I used it for a few rides and then switched to a DJ seat.

I currently am trying to trade it for a seat with springs or an old leather seat.

The verdict... Finally after three saddles in one year I made the right purchase. Great saddle, quite light (200gr) and very very comfy!!!! Went for a 40km trail ride yesterday and no pain......hurrey!

Of course you're assuming that everyone has the same sit bones.

Worst seat ever, Xmart seats are more comfy.
