Freeride shoes

im looking for a good pair of shoes that will work well with platform pedals. right now i ride in a pair of converse chuck taylors which i like cause they are flat and somewhat sticky but i constantly smash my feet on the cranks and have decided it would be nice to have something with more protection.

thanks

I like Vans Cabelleros. If you want a lot of foot protection go with the newstyle skate shoes, they have really tough uppers. The Vans have great connection and ok protection.

Cool avatar Sshock4. I have a gigantic poster of that very same thing in my room. It's like 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

Intense Shoes with their "Grippy Rubber" compound.

I also like Vans. I've got a pair of Rowley's I like, but my favorite is their old skool high tops.

Answer's Masher is an inexpensive alternative.

Hey Mael, what size do you wear? I was cruising EBay and found some Intense shoes which above mentioned sticky rubber, there was no size given so I asked. I just got the reply: Size 13.

Too big for me!

When I bought my shoes I found out that you should order half a size smaller than nike, and since i had alot of nike shoes thats what I did. They fit perfectly.
